Leo Buscaglia believed that we should live life, never “waiting for tomorrow.” He stated that, “We don’t know what might happen in the very next moment, and that moment may be lost forever.”

“Things You Didn’t Do”

Author Unknown

Remember the day I borrowed your brand new car and I dented it?
I thought you’d kill me, but you didn’t.
And remember the time I dragged you to the beach, and you said it would rain, and it did?
I thought you’d say, “I told you so.” But you didn’t.
Do you remember the time I flirted with all the guys to make you jealous, and you were?
I thought you’d leave me, but you didn’t.
Do you remember the time I spilled strawberry pie all over your car rug?
I thought you’d hit me, but you didn’t.
And remember the time I forgot to tell you the dance was formal and you showed up in jeans?
I thought you’d drop me, but you didn’t.
Yes, there were lots of things you didn’t do.
But you put up with me, and you loved me, and you protected me.
There were lots of things I wanted to make up to you when you returned from Viet Nam.
But you didn’t.

How many times in life do we postpone the things we need to do – until it’s too late to do it, and then simply just don’t do it at all. How many opportunities do we miss, because we just don’t take them – and later regrets it?
God gave each of us one single chance, one single life, and the only way to live it to the fullest, is by taking every possible opportunity that comes our way, and just do it. We need to actually start doing things and not postponing them.

When the idea strikes to visit the aged people in your street and brighten their day, do it.
When the urge to stop next to the beggar in the street, and say a few kind words, hits you, do it.
When you want to hug a friend and tell him he is precious to you, do it.
When you want to look in your spouse’s eyes and confirm your love, do it.

Too many people suffers from bad memories and regrets about things they could have, but never did do.
Never postpone to do the things you don’t want to regret being undone, in retrospection.
JUST DO IT

Loeloe
